Meet the host ... Malikah Bakir!
I’m a Soap-obsessed, formulating-addict, Top-Market seller, Yoga, Cyclist and Pilates instructor, I love watching period shows like Granchester, and Father Brown I am also a mother and wife.
In early 2019, I found my world turned upside down after being in what should have been a fatal car accident. During that time, I fell in love with making soap and just being a DIY formulator of beautiful things that could change how people looked at themselves. Making eco friendly soap and beauty formulations not only help calm my mind but it allowed me to find a new purpose, despite not having any professional experience as a chemist I learned that I was still able to be a successful soaper and DIY formulator.
I set up my farmers market stand and started to to share my soaps and lotions with the world. After some trial and error, I found a way to get creative and help pay for some of the things we needed in our household. The opportunity to teach others how to follow my soap and DIY formulation path appeared, and my world exploded into soapy-filled goodness.

Do I need soap-making experience to register?
You do not!
The Sud Week classes are perfect for soap makers from beginner level upwards.
You do not need any previous experience or tools to enjoy learning to make soap.
Everything I will teach and share in Sud Week is a sample of the fabulous benefits my amazing Secret Sud Society members get every month. I cannot wait to share this with you!
When are the Sud Week sessions happening? And what time zone?
Sticker Week begins on February 9th, 2025, and runs for five days.
After you purchase your $17 ticket, you'll receive an email from Malikah with the full schedule of events.
Each day of Sud Week, a fun and step-by-step soap-making class will be released. The daily class will be 25-45 minutes long and will feature new soap being made from scratch.
When you sign up for your $17 ticket, you'll receive information on how to easily access this class from the comfort of your own home.
And that isn't all!
You'll also get access to come along to a daily live session with Mim in the Facebook community to get questions answered, feedback and even more soap-making tips.
PLUS, if you can't make it live, all good!
You'll also get access to all of the class and live session recordings until February 17th, 2025!
So plenty of time to watch, rewatch and learn at your own pace.
In a different time zone?
All good! My students are in many different time zones around the world.
The live workshops are based on the ET time zone but you'll also get access to the recordings until January 27th, 2025.
How long do I have access to the class replays?
Our Sud Week ticket holders will get access to the daily class recordings and the live session replays until February 17th, 2025.
IMPORTANT NOTE: After that date, there will be no further access to recordings, replays, or the community as these will all be archived.
However, if you need more time to watch the workshops, you can join Malikaha sud-making membership, Secret Sud Society, when Sud Week ends.
All active members of Secret Sud Society will have ongoing access to the Sud Week classes as they will be housed in the membership.
Do I need to have a stick blender or any other supplies?
The only essential tools and supplies you will need to take part in Sud Week are a stick blender, a computer or laptop with a reasonable internet connection!.
If you decide that soap-making is something you want to pursue later, here are some other tools and equipment you can look into:
1. soap mold (it can be an inkjet or laser and it doesn't need to be a fancy one!)
2. seamless spatulas
3. protective eyewear
You can cut out your soap with non serrated knife , or a craft knife.

Remember, if you only have a stick blender and computer or laptop, you can still enjoy all of the Sud Week workshops and have fun learning all about making soap!
Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Your Sud Week ticket is non-refundable.
Can't make it to the live workshops?
No problem! When you register for your ticket, you'll also get access to the class recordings as soon as they're available.
Plus, you'll have access to those recordings until February 17th, 2025!

What software will you be teaching?
At Sud Week, you'll be learning how to make soap in the free versions of Soap Maker 3.
You get to choose the best, free software for you:
Soap Calc: Is an online free database that will allow you to calculate your soap formulas for free.
Soap Maker 3: Soap Maker 3 is a robust free online too that is amazing for helping you create perfect soap.
If you have are using any other soap calculater feel free to use the one you like best just remember calculations may be different does not mean they are not correct.
What if I can't make it to the sessions live?
You'll get access to the soap-making classes each day from 3pm US ET.
You'll also get access to any live session replays within 24 hours of them happening.
Plus, you'll have access to watch all class recordings and live replays until February 17th, 2025 when you buy your $17 ticket to Sud Week!
Are all classes live?
The daily soap making classes are pre-recorded and available to watch from 3pm US ET.The daily live sessions with Malikah in the Facebook community will happen at 7-8pm US ET.Each day,
Malikah will email ticket holders with a reminder before the live sessions start so you must stay subscribed to Malikah's emails and keep an eye on your inbox.
We recommend that you ensure no emails are being sent to your spam folder in advance so that you do not miss out on anything.
Do I need to register if I'm a Secret Sud Society member?
If you're an active, current member of Secret Sud Society,
you do not need to register as Sticker Week is included in your membership!
